Youth

2025 Highlights

  • Ice Cream Social and Resource Fair: FNA hosts an Annual Ice Cream Social and Resource Fair to celebrate our youth, unite the community, and provide access to important resources. Youth, families, and community members enjoyed a night of food, music, and resources. FNA also distributed school supplies, including ~300 backpacks/water bottles/lunch bags.

  • Gardening Education: Youth from Step Up and We Win Institute visited The Story Garden in July. Youth learned about growing food, proper weeding, and harvesting; helped in the garden; and tried new foods like gooseberries and black raspberries.

  • Support Youth Sports & Safety: FNA supported the Folwell Lions, the youth tackle football program at Folwell Park, by purchasing Guardian Caps for the 60 youth participating in the program.

  • New Youth Coordinator: FNA has a new youth coordinator, Benjamin Glover with BIG Talks.

  • Promote Community Events: Visit the FNA Facebook to find community events.
