You can find the form here.---------------------------------------------------Original Post Below-----------------------------------------------REGISTER YOUR HOME HERE TO RECEIVE $10 FOR TREATS AND TO BE ADDED TO THE TREAT MAP![gallery ids="2183,2182,2181,2186,2184" type="rectangular"]Remember the years when every porch light was on and the streets were full of children and families? Ghosts, Goblins, superheros, cheerleaders, and wizards would visit every home with the magical chant that granted them the one day a year where their pillow case would be full of candy. For many however, recent years have seen visibly empty streets and much of their bags of candy go untouched as kids and families choose to Trick or Treat in other neighborhoods. Residents in Folwell have teamed up with the Folwell Neighborhood Association (FNA) and Folwell Park to bring Halloween back to Folwell! This year on Oct. 31 neighbors have the opportunity to participate in a variety of Falloween Fun!
- Trunk or Treat will be held at Folwell Park. No registration required, just bring your car (decorated or not) and park it in the lot. This is a great activity for little kids! Come visit the FNA tent and get your picture taken at the Photo Booth before you get candy!
- A Bonfire and treats will be waiting for kids and families at the Story Garden on 35th and Humboldt.
- If you are looking for a more spooky experience, visit the garden on 34th and Penn “Eddie’s Garden of Dreams” previously known as the Love Garden. There will be a variety of harvest activities and a scary movie!
Residents of Folwell can also register their house for Trick or Treating to receive $10 to help offset costs. While anyone can hand out candy, those who register will be put on a map to help create a Trail of Treats journey for families to move them from event to event. You can register HERE!Got questions, ideas or would you like to volunteer to be a safe spot on the Trail of Treats? Contact us at info@folwell.org.
