National Night Out
National Night Out (NNO) can be an incredible opportunity to get out of the house in a casual setting and meet the folks you share a block with. Neighbors coming out of their doors to build relationships with one another is the surest way to build stronger communities.
The FNA has intentionally decided not to host its own official gathering in an effort to direct all residents to build relationships with those on their own block.(This is part of our “Build Strong Communities Effort) By FNA hosting it’s own large event, this would draw people away from their own local level block party. Instead the FNA staff, connectors, and board members will be out visiting all of you where you are at on your own blocks! Look for them in their green FNA shirts! They will be passing out Resource bags to folks who need/want them, along with large yellow trash bags to help keep the streets clean after the party is over!
Did you forget to register with the city to block off your street? No worries, you can still register with the FNA and host in your yard! The FNA gives you a FREE $50 to help with the cost of hosting a party. You can Register Here!
Are you need in Invitations for your Block Party to deliver to every house on your street? Email the FNA at info@folwell.org and we have some ready for you! All you have to do is schedule a pick up!
