Speed bumps have been installed in Folwell Neighborhood on 33rd Avenue North. Folwell Neighborhood Association did not pay for the speed bumps installed on 33rd between James and Logan.
There will be more traffic calming throughout the Folwell Neighborhood. This has been an area of concern and under discussion since the beginning of the year in response to resident complaints and agency observation.
They are there, and more traffic calming is coming because of concerns, from Barb Johnson, FNA, the MPD and the City streets and traffic control, about the rate of speed that occurs in Folwell – which is laid out in a straight line grid N/S and E/W.
33rd Avenue will be the only corridor receiving speed bumps. In other locations there will be a different type of traffic diversion.
