Spring Street Sweeping Begins Tuesday, April 14

The City’s comprehensive spring street sweeping will begin tomorrow,Tuesday, April 14. Drivers should watch for temporary “No Parking” signs along streets to avoid a ticket and tow.  Parking will be banned from 7am4:30pm on the day a street is swept.  “No Parking” signs will be posted at least 24 hours in advance. Vehicles not removed will be towed to the Minneapolis Impound Lot.

The Street Sweeping Schedule Lookup on the City’s website has been updated.  Use the link to find out when the sweeping crews are coming through your neighborhood.

Minneapolis streets are swept completely curb to curb once in the spring and once in the fall. Residents should not push leaves, grass clippings, or other debris into City streets – it’s bad for our lakes and waterways and it’s against the law.
